Rare waterside restaurant opportunity at York Marine
Lewis Craig have been instructed to market the proposed restaurant development at the York Marine site in Bishopthorpe, York. A new 180-cover, 4,000 sq ft restaurant is proposed, with foundations already laid. The restaurant will comprise an eco-friendly construction with superb river views, being located a stones throw from Bishopthorpe Palace.
The restaurant is envisaged as the catalyst for progress on a wider project to create a marina in the area for between 300 and 500 boats. The site being located only a mile away from York Racecourse provides an exciting opportunity to acquire a self-contained restaurant opportunity in an attractive and sought after location.

Southern Italian cuisine on the bank of the Thames
Acting on behalf of our client Meghraj Properties Ltd, Lewis Craig have recently let the former Tootsies restaurant at Putney Wharf to Caparossa’s Convivium Italia Restaurant. Diners can sample true Italian food from Southern Italy, and with a view over the Wharf to Putney Bridge and seating outside, this restaurant should prove extremely popular with summer approaching.
See www.caparossa.co.uk for further information.
Pil Pel open at Paternoster Square
Lewis Craig have disposed of the former Glo premises at Paternoster Square alongside St Pauls Cathedral, having lined up falafel and houmous bar operator Pilpel to take a new 15 year lease from landlords Mitsubishi Estates. The deal involved negotiating a simultaneous surrender of the previous lease.
PilPel, successfully operating in the City since 2009 from 38 Brushfield Street, Spitalfields E1, have plans to establish further locations with Lewis Craig instructed to advise on future expansion.
